Abstract
Industrial activities are major contributors to soil pollution, introducing
heavy metals, organic pollutants, and other contaminants that adversely affect
soil health and agricultural productivity. This research paper evaluates the
pollution status of soils in industrial regions, examining the types and levels
of pollutants present, their sources, and their impacts on soil health and crop
yields. By synthesizing existing research and data, this paper aims to
highlight critical areas for remediation and sustainable practices to mitigate
the negative effects of industrial pollution on agriculture.
