This paper will reflect M. K. Gandhi (1869-1958) and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s (1891-1956) commitments to the end of untouchability and how they battled against untouchability in India and their impact on current Dalits developments. I will moreover talk about their inconsistencies and ideological contrasts with respect to the evacuation of the cast framework and untouchability.
